4 x 4 Trails 

The area surrounding the lodge offers beautiful 4 x 4 driving through the coconut plantations.  Believe it or not Inhambane Province has over 500 species of birds and if you take the time to stop at a quiet place you will be amazed at what there is to see from spiders to snakes to birds. 

All tracks are sandy and it’s advisable to drop your tyre pressure to 1bar so as to minimize damage to the environment.  Take care not to drive over any cultivated lands as this will infuriate the local farmers who would be within their rights to claim damages. 

A short way down the beach and up on to one of the higher sand dunes in the area takes us to “Top of the World” with a 360 degree view.  This is a very special place to enjoy sundowners.  Remember to bring all your rubbish home with you.

Remember that it's illegal to drive on any of the beaches in Mozambique. Access to beach is allowed only in front of the lodge, however, there is ample space for you to privately enjoy our beautiful beach.
