Shell Collecting and Beach Walks

The beach in front of the resort is probably one of the finest you’ll ever visit.  It’s important that we keep it this way.  It stretches for miles giving one the opportunity to collect shells that have been washed up.  There are many different types of shells and this is a favourite past time for those who don’t dive.

Although the locals sell shells on the beach, the majority of these have been taken out alive and we urge you not to buy them.  Any shell washed up on the beach has spent it’s life and deserves to be collected and enjoyed.

When walking on the beach it’s a good idea not to leave any clothing or personal effects unattended.  Like anywhere else in the world these could go missing when you turn your back.
